Demänovská Dolina is a village in district of Liptovský Mikuláš located in the most attractive part of Low Tatras, approximately 15 km south of Liptovský Mikuláš.

Pavčina Lehota (10 km)
Ski Center Žiarce, located near the village Pavčina Lehota at the foot of Low Tatras, has 4 lifts and 8 slopes of variations of difficulty. As there are plenty of children's lifts, the resort is popular especially among families with children.
Aquapark Tatralandia, Liptovský Mikuláš (19 km)
