History
Thanks to the exceptional climatic conditions at the end of the 19th and in the first half of the 20th century, Harmony was used as a spa resort and architect Dušan Jurkovič also located his Sunny spa in this locality.
The aim of the recent extensive comprehensive reconstruction of the premises and buildings – Avana Pavilion, Vilma Pavilion, bowling alley, ceramic workshop and new building of the EVA pavilion and the new reception was, in the sense of the renowned architect Juraj Zornička, to restore its atmosphere and elegance and continue its tradition in a new, modern style, in the form of relaxation.
The complex of the Hotel Pod Lipou Resort consists of three pavilions:
AVANA Pavilion ****
AVANA Pavilion has a total of 21 rooms, a restaurant, a conference room and a lounge. The three-storey building is structurally designed as a three-tract with the preservation of the original shape with a sloping hipped roof, complemented by a large dormer towards the park. The family and the peaceful atmosphere of the hotel is enhanced by vintage style combined with modern elements. The boutique hotel is largely dominated by oak. In form of libraries or as a tiling in hotel rooms.
The restaurant, with a total capacity of 80 – 120, is dominated by a bright interior and is pleasantly complemented by a terrace with stunning views situated on two levels. Terrace capacity is 80 people.

Eva Pavilion ****
Pavilion expanded accommodation capacity by 30 rooms and congress / wedding hall for 200 people with the latest technological equipment including dispensing kitchen and preparation for catering. The AVANA and EVA objects are connected by a new reception.
The elegant flair of the design of the Eva pavilion from the beginning of the 20th century is complemented by the local context of the Modran microregion with its characteristic blueprint. Original, custom made wallpapers with a blueprint linden leaf in the rooms, combined with a retro walnut texture on furniture, create a basic colour combination. The central visual motif of the wellness zone is backlit graphics on the ceiling above the swimming pool with a length of 18 m. There is a Finnish and steam sauna, a cooling pool, a hot tub and a gym. Guests can also use the services of professional massages and facial treatments.

Vilma Pavilion ***
Pavilion Vilma, situated only 50 m from the main building, offers 24 refurbished rooms with direct access to the summer pool, sand beach and sports facilities. There is a conference hall and a lounge. In 2022 the water and heating distribution systems were completely reconstructed.

The EVA Hall is designed for congresses using the latest technology as well as wireless connectivity to the projector, state-of-the-art lighting and sound. It has its own gastronomic background and built-in parquet.
Ecological solutions
Using the latest environmentally friendly and energy-friendly technologies, the complex ranks among the environmentally friendly. The heating and cooling system uses ground-to-water heat pumps, room thermostats communicate with the reservation system and automatically activate the energy saving mode in the absence of guests in the hotel room.
There are also three charging stations for electric vehicles.
Sport and relaxation activities
The new sports and experiential area is an excellent place for organising team building, corporate games or open-air concerts.
Swimming pools and beach: Throughout the year there is a functional wellness area of 599 sqm which consists of a swimming pool (19×4 m), Finnish and steam sauna, cooling pool, relaxation room and whirlpool fitness. External wellness is currently under construction.
During the summer season there is also an outdoor pool (15×10 m) and a children’s pool (5×5 m) with a sandy beach, which will be appreciated by visitors on hot summer days. Beautiful green garden with grown trees, comfortable sun loungers and bean sacks only enhance the enjoyment of relaxation.
Jurkovič‘s bowling alley: A modern 200 sqm event space with its own bar and two traditional stamp lanes is located directly behind the Eva pavilion. It provides privacy from hotel guests and symbolically takes you to the past where the sun baths were originally located by architect Dušan Jurkovič. Capacity: 60 people.
Ceramic-art studio: Under the supervision of experienced ceramists you can choose an amusing form of relaxation, whether by making ceramics or painting. This two-storey building also serves as a space for creative workshops.
Rope park: For adrenaline fans, there is a rope park with two circuits of difficulty.
In the area of 2.5 hectares there is a beach volleyball, petangue, tennis courts, a basketball and football field, table tennis and a pirate boat playground for the smallest Slovak woodcarvers. New is also Escape Room, ZIP Line for children and fishing.
The exterior of the hotel is carefully maintained, planting more than 100 new trees as well as lawns regularly treated by a landscape architect and several years of deciduous and coniferous trees create an atmosphere for relaxation and rest.
