Slovakia Sotheby’s International Realty offers for sale the historic Small Manor House Bošany, situated in the centre of the village of Bošany, Partizánske District. The manor house underwent a comprehensive renovation between 1995 and 1996 and, thanks to its architecture, layout and extensive park, offers potential for representative business use, a private residence or a social-residential concept.
The manor house is a national cultural monument and an original aristocratic residence. According to available records, it was created by the conversion of an older defensive stronghold; in the mid-16th century, it was adapted into a Renaissance manor house, and in 1776 it acquired its Baroque-Classicist appearance. After 1948, it was nationalised and also used for public purposes; since 1990, it has been in private ownership.
The architecture of the building is based on symmetry, a mansard roof, a prominent main entrance with a balcony, and elegantly articulated façades with windows set in surrounds with banded rustication. From the park side, the manor house has a calmer character and forms a representative connection with the greenery. The interior preserves the character of a historic building — vaulted corridors, high ceilings, wooden doors, large windows, a stone staircase, chandeliers and generous reception rooms create a suitable foundation for further sensitive use.
The layout is divided into a basement level, two above-ground floors and an attic. The basement level comprises technical and storage facilities, with the possibility of creating a wine cellar or tasting area. The first above-ground floor consists of an entrance hall, four separate rooms, an office, staircase, cloakroom and sanitary facilities. The second above-ground floor includes two generous reception halls, three additional rooms, a kitchen, toilets and storage areas. The attic is in its original condition and offers the possibility of adaptation into further usable or residential space; an added benefit is a terrace of approximately 50 sqm.
The extensive exterior comprises a park with mature trees, natural shade and three ponds. The setting provides space for garden receptions, wedding ceremonies, intimate events or the creation of a peaceful estate for future residential or community use.
Given the scale of the building, the structure of its layout and the parkland setting, the property is suitable for an investor with a clearly defined intention and a sensitive approach to the restoration of historic architecture. It represents a space for functions requiring a representative environment, independent operational facilities and a higher degree of privacy — from a corporate and training centre, through an intimate hospitality concept, to residential, retreat or cultural-social use.
